Description of Project

The Pakistan Gender Coalition is a network of Pakistani Civil Society organizations, academic institutions, research institutions and media organizations that have a commitment to working towards gender equality and that are former and current sub-grantees of the Gender Equity Program. Future sub-grantees will be inducted into the coalition when they come on board.
Coalitions are an effective platform for collective action. This coalition is particularly important because of the strategic design of GEP, whereby each grant is part of a larger synergistic whole. MDF to take up the cause with reference to this year's "16 Days of Activism to end Violence Against Women" global campaign. This year's global theme is "From Peace in the home to Pease in the world".
